Unorthodogs Flyball Club - Seattle WA

Training with Unorthodogs...
Our new dogs learn flyball during regular practice time so they learn to work with other dogs and begin to function as part of a team. Dogs are in crates when they aren't working, so those who need to work alone get plenty of opportunity to do so. We work hard to give every dog individual attention and structure our time to give the most to the dogs who need it. Dogs and handlers in training go through three stages of training before they are ready to race:

Every dog and every person progresses at their own speed. Training is always positive and fun. We take video of all our dogs so that the handlers can see exactly what is happening with thir dog's training and can see progress. We take pride in our training skills and take every opportunity to improve our skills by attending seminars, travelling out of region to learn from other teams, and getting outside opinions on how our dogs are doing (sometimes a new set of eyes can see things we can't). If you are interested in hearing more about training your dog with Unorthodogs, please contact us. We are happy to answer all your questions.

PLEASE NOTE - We are currently taking new students. We are looking for dogs who are fit, active, and have lots of energy. If you are interested in trying flyball please let us know. If your dog does not seem to be the right fit for our club, we would be happy to recommend other clubs in the Seattle area who may be a better match for you and your dog.
