Welcome to the Great Balls of Fire 2008 Tournament!
We don’t want to take up too much time at the Captain’s meeting covering all the events going on this weekend, so please forward to your team members.
Friday and Saturday Night Racing:
Triple Crown has asked told us they will turn the a/c off at 8:00 pm both days. We hope to have everything done by then but will not have enough time to set-up and have the Friday night racing.
Triple Crown Rules:
A/C will be turned off at 8:00 pm both nights.
No one is allowed to stay overnight in the facility.
Dock doors need to stay closed so that the facility will stay cool while we are setting up. So unload through the doors in the back and the front. We will open the dock doors up for unloading and loading the mats only. On Sunday, the dock doors will stay shut until the mats are ready to load.
Please remember to pick up after your dog.
Line and Box Judging:
Line judges will be writing the times on the racing sheets.
If you find that you will be unable to fill a seat during your assigned judging slot, please let someone from Texas Heat know so that we can find someone to take your place.
Racing:
This tournament will be run with one ring.
We will have 2 minute warm-ups for every team’s first race on both Saturday and Sunday.
There will be lunch break for 40 minutes on Saturday and 30 minutes on Sunday.
Per NAFA rules, the baseboards on the jumps are 6”.
Special Events:
Saturday Night Racing
Racing time will start 30 minutes after the last race of the day
Check out our raffle items. There will be 2 one-day raffles.
Check with Teresa at the raffle table for our new t-shirt design.
Games will take place Saturday. The two high scoring clubs will compete in the Human flyball racing challenge which is scheduled for the Sunday’s lunch break.
Campers:
Please pay your camping fee at the raffle table. Make checks payable to Mary Fairbairn.
