Sawyer was a rescue from a private rescuer in Kansas City, MO. He was found wandering outside of an animal hospital...they have no idea if he was dumped there by someone, or if he was a stray who found his way there. He was adopted by me, sight unseen, and was transported from MO to MD by a good friend. He's fit in well with the rest of the red dogs...and is a very silly boy. Sawyer loves playing, loves meeting new people and LOVES flyball. He is also John's Service Dog and helps him pick up stuff, open cabinets, tug off shoes and clothing and more. He likes to have more than one job. As for flyball...he has a very nice box turn and is a pretty fast boy. His trademark is his ability to get spit sprayed all over himself and me while he's lined up ready to run. The team jokes that I'll need to wear a welder's mask and poncho soon. If you see Sawyer lined up in the lanes, be sure to stay back from the spray!
