Bella is 100% housebroken and kennel trained, making her a great inside dog. She is very affectionate and eager to please, but it is suggested that she have a home with a very experienced dog owner, as she is very smart. She enjoys chasing tennis balls, even throwing the ball back to you on the return! She also likes to just carry the ball in her mouth around the house. This is a dog who needs a lot of exercise, weekly brushing of her coat, especially in the de-tangling of the backs of hind legs and tail. Without doubt she is a herding dog! Bella needs to be kenneled when unattended until she matures. She has had very little exposure to being outside of a small kennel, therefore likes to investigate new things in her mouth, as a young puppy would. She would make a great dog for agility, flyball, or any other fast paced activity. Bella was found to be heartworm positive, but thankfully she has been treated successfully! She now tests negative and is on preventive. She is up to date on vaccinations and is being fostered in Okeechobee.
