| Name:
Cat
Breed: Smooth Fox Terrier
DOB: ~11/05
Handlers: Chris Tompkins, Mindie Pearson
Titles: U-Fli: TFE-II NAFA: FDX
Cat came to live with me in February 2008, when her previous owner
could no longer care for her. I have know her since she was born.
Although her name is unusual, it really fits her personality. She
has been quick agile her whole life. She loves to retrieve ANYTHING
(balls, rocks, sticks) and when she tugs “let go” is
not an option. She LOVES flyball, and recently took a stab at Splashdogs.
Her energy level is amazing, and we have a lot of fun together finding
ways to expend it together.

Name: Walter
Breed: Golden Retriever
Handlers: Bob & Suzanne Fletcher
Titles: U-Fli: TFP NAFA: FDCH
Walter came into Bob and Suzanne’s life through a chance neighborhood
meeting. He was running willy-nilly and our neighbors corralled him
because they thought he was our dog Charlie (see above). Turns out,
he had recently been obtained from the shelter and was being used
as a guard dog at a local grocery store, but kept getting out. Obviously,
it wasn’t working out very well so the owners let us have him.
He has great energy and took to flyball well-although not necessarily
quickly!! He is now a solid member of the team. |
Name: Star
Breed: Mixed Breed
DOB: ~06/06
Handler: Mindie Pearson
Titles: U-Fli: TFE-III NAFA: FDX
Star is a crazy combo of focused herders and energetic terriers. She
is half sister to Cat and I have raised her from a puppy. She learned
to love the ball from her sister Cat (her nemesis), for the better
part of her puppy life she could never get the ball from her sister
which bore a wild competitive nature in her. We discovered flyball
in January 2008 and once She loves it! She has learned a lot of manners
and knows how to play the game. It was the best thing that happened
to us! |

In Iris’s short life she made an amazing impact on mine forever. She was ALMOST 1 and 1/2 years old and she learned many things. She could sit, stay, lay down, spin, & rollover. She could trot alongside me off leash, and when she was really excited she would run and jump into my arms fully trusting I would catch her! She was learning to play flyball and determined to prove everyone wrong that she could do it! she was on her way with a nice little turn on the shoot and an 8 jump run! She especially learned to how to make you love her even when she was being naughty!
