Parents: Both are AKC Field and Amateur Field Trial Champions.
Bio: Lindy is a solidly built 63 pound black lab. Since my husband and I are pilots we name our dogs after famous pilots, Lindy is named after Charles Lindberg whose nickname was “Lucky Lindy”. Lindy spent the first four years of his life training for Retriever Field Trials. At the age of 2 he became Qualified All Age. At the age of three he had jammed in two Opens and an Amateur. Unfortunately at the age of three he had a severe eye injury while training this injury required his eyeball to have eight stitches. I realized after a year of trying to run him with the injury his eye sight was no longer good enough for field trials. The good news is this brought us to the sport of flyball and a whole new set of friends and experience. Lindy started training in October 2007 and ran his first tournament in February 2008. We both love the sport. After almost a year of running Lindy has 8500 points. Lindy is also currently running Retriever Hunt Tests and I hope will be running agility sometime in 2009. I love this big hard driving, goofy boy and the people who took the chance of letting us play on their team.
