     Abby recently had a weekend at a Terrier Trial.  Impressive results for a puppy just under a year, don't you think?  One of the events she excelled in was the hurdles - go figure!!!

It all started one day when a man brought a Jack puppy into work.  I was hooked.  I knew I wanted a Jack Russell.  But these guys are hard to find.  After putting my name on a list with one breeder she phoned and said all the puppies were gone, but she would have another litter in four months.  I was heart broken so I asked for another breeder's name.  I was given the name Gail Caudle of Truro.  When I phoned she said she had ten puppies two days old.  I was at her house that night and got first choice of the litter.  It was love at first sight.

Many people question me on why a Jack, they are so hyper.  Yes, they are hyper, but she has such a wonderful personality and is the most relaxed dog at home.  Abby loves to run, jump and is slowly getting the nack of swimming.  She is very interestin everything and everyone.  She has no fear and thinks she can take on anyone.  She is a quick learner and is getting ready to run her first flyball tournament.

In short, Abby is my little star, our walls have now become covered in plaques, ribbon and pictures of her.  She goes everywhere I do, and I will hate to see the day when she's not there.  She is my true buddy.  -  Amy Fraser
