Tejano

Scallywags Flyball Team

Breed: Border Collie Mix

Gender: Male

Favorite treat: Anything edible

Tejano was about 14 weeks old when he was found him in a park in San Antonio last year.  He was alone and sick. He spent the next 3 weeks in a vet there until he was well enough to come home with his new family. After recovering from the severe neglect, Tejano is now a ball of energy, always ready to play and eager to please.

Tejano loves to play ball, any kind of ball game. He also likes to play "keep away" and "tag" with his house mate, Roo, with squeaky toys.  He tries to herd the family’s cats, but they will not always cooperate. He has learned to respect the cats when they don't want to play. He loves to chew on bones, especially when he can get you to hold it for him.

Tejano has recently joined the flyball class after his vet recommended it for the mental and physical stimulation.  He is enjoying his Friday night outings to play and shows great enthusiasm for the game.  He can't wait to be as good as Mischief!
