It soon became apparent that he and Trevor were meant to be together, and Jonas found his forever home with Trevor's family last year. Now Jonas keeps in shape joining Trevor's parents on daily runs, and Trevor works with him in fine-tuning his flyball skills so he can develop into the outstanding flyball dog he is destined to become. Jonas and Trevor ran in their first event at the RUFF Flying Dog tournament in Colorado in June 2006. They raced all three days and showed plenty of cool under pressure, helping the team to bring home a second, third, and fourth place, and set a new speed record for the team at 19.5 seconds!
