Sunday morning saw us get an early start so that we could do a little sightseeing on the way home. We spent most of the morning and early afternoon at the Grand Canyon. For those of us that had never seen it before - it was amazing. It was hard to leave such a beautiful sight.
The scenery from Flagstaff until dark was beautiful. We were constantly amazed by the colors and shapes of the hills and cliffs. We made it home late on Tuesday night. Safe and sound and completely exhausted but it was well worth the trip. To spend that many days with friends and teammates was an experience we will never forget.
