Quick Release was formed in February
2003 by a group of flyball enthusiasts from the Ottawa Valley Border Collie
Club. We attended our first Flyball Fun Match at the Afterburners
Spring Fling in March. In May we recruited an experienced height
dog and made our NAFA debut at the Hot Diggity Dogs tournament in Belleville
May 3 & 4, 2003.
The Ottawa Valley Border Collie Club has
been playing flyball for over a decade although they haven't had a competitive
team since the 'Valley Jets' in 1988.
