Ryker is a Rhodesian Ridgeback, born on November 28, 2005. He is loved by Elisha & Mitch LaPointe and his big brother, Duke.

Ryker was brought into our family after losing Zeus, our Yorkie/Maltese mix to a very unfortunate accident. While he is certainly no replacement for Zeus-man, he is so much fun to have around and has helped us to refocus some of our grief.

Ryker is very much a mamma's boy and can usually be found on her lap or at her side (I see a 95 pound lap dog in the future!). He LOVES to play with other dogs and he and Duke get along great - playing constantly, driving mom & dad crazy! Growing up in a flyball home, Ryker will definitely be trained to play flyball, however, Ridgebacks are not known for their retrieving skills...we'll have to see how it goes!
