Bear is a Rottweiler and was found wandering in Oromocto by an Animal Control officer and since no one came to claim him he was turned over to the Oromocto SPCA. As soon as she met him, Ayoka knew that he was a really special dog and she adopted him in September 2005 at the (approximate) age of 9 months...it is really hard to believe that anyone would abandon such a kind and loving dog.

Bear's flyball education started January 2006 because his mom thought it would be a great sport for a dog who likes to run and jump and chase a ball as much as he does. His other academic pursuits include obedience training and his mom has told him that he will soon be going to a class in something called Agility.

Bear is such an active dog that he keeps his mom on her toes. At home Bear can be found gnawing on a good bone, eating out of the cat litter box or annoying the heck out of his kitty siblings. His favorite outdoor activities include keeping his mom company on her runs, playing fetch, and wrestling with his doggy buddies. Bear does find time to relax once in a while and when he does he likes to lounge on the couch pillows as close to mom and dad as possible!

Bear lives with his mom, Ayoka Bubar, his dad, Sean Clancy, and his feline siblings, Jimmy and Tina.
