Flyball in the Fort - 1999

Pawsitive Energy and the Fort Saskatchewan Area Canine Association will be holding their annual NAFA sanctioned Flyball tournament on August 14 and 15, 1999 in the historical setting of Fort Edmonton Park in Edmonton, Alberta.

Classes Offered:
Regular - Saturday & Sunday
These are two one day tournaments.

Multibreed - Saturday & Sunday
(four racing dogs must be different breeds, with one non-breed specific dog allowed)
These are also two one day tournaments.

Please make cheques payable to Fort Saskatchewan and Area Canine Association. The variation in entry fees approximately reflects the variation in the number of races teams entered in these classes may expect to compete in.

Entry Forms:
We cannot accept entry fees electronically, but you can print out the entry forms, complete them and mail them to the Entries Chairperson along with a cheque or money order.

Tournament Format:
The tournament will use a Round Robin format in all classes and divisions.

Tournament Site:
Racing will take place inside a permanent tent on doubled racing mats covering an asphalt base. Benching will be available both inside and outside the tent.

Fort Edmonton Park is a historical park in Edmonton's River Valley, easily accessible from Whitemud Drive, one of the major arterial routes. Each team will receive a ticket/day for each handler and boxloader permitting access to the park (and the tournament site). Please state on your entry if you require additional tickets.

Inside the park a variety of food outlets are open, and we will also make food and beverages available for purchase by exhibitors. This weekend is dedicated by Fort Edmonton Park as 'Gone to the Dogs'.
