Toby's career began in June 1993 and ended in August 2004 upon her retirement at the age of 13.5 years. She passed away August 2005. She raced with club 015 her entire career. Toby was well known as a frequent competitor in many tournaments throughout Regions 1 & 2. Toby was our main height dog (10" height) for a number of years. She had a tremendous impact on the Pawsitive Attitudes club because until she came along, the jumps were set at 15". Toby wasn't a ball fanatic or the fastest of our dogs, but once she learned to play Flyball, she was dependable, consistent and steady. She would run for anyone in any position. Toby often ran on two teams in order to allow for other teammates to play. Toby has been the #1 SC Wheaten since 2000. She was the first of her breed to earn FMCH through FG70K. When she retired, her point total was 74,553 a pretty amazing feat for a little dog with a lot of heart. Her family and team misses her and hopes that you honor her and will cast your vote to induct her into the Clyde Moore Hall of Fame! Nomination: Clyde Moore Memorial Hall of Fame 2005 I would like to nominate Toby (CRN 940173), a soft-coated wheaten terrier who raced with Pawsitive Attitudes Flyball Team (015) from June 1993 to August 2004. Everyone in Region 1 and a good many people in Region 2 know Toby. Toby is a little small for her breed, so for the longest time she was our only height dog. There were many tournaments that she raced on two teams so that our taller dogs all got to play. Toby has never been very interested in the ball, but once she learned to play flyball, she was very dependable, she always ran down and back. She was never very fast, but we could always count on Toby. In fact, there were a number of times that her owner, Kim O'Neill, couldn't make it to tournaments and because the team needed her, Toby was sent to play without Kim. Toby would run for anyone. Toby has been the #1 SC Wheaten since fiscal year 2000. She was the first of her breed to earn FMCH, Onyx, FDGCH, FG40K, FG50K, FG60K and FG70K. When she retired her point total was 74,553 a pretty amazing feat for a little dog with a lot of heart. Pawsitive Attitudes misses her on the racing lanes, and hopes that you will cast your vote to induct her into the Clyde Moore Hall of Fame! I had been the captain/owner of this club since 1982 with 'height dogs' of 15 and 16". Toby was a unbelievable addition to Pawsitive Attitudes. She had energy, stamina and spunk. What a relief to get away from those 15/16" jumps and to have a little dog that was willing and able to race on two teams. She spoiled me. She gave me some challenges during training, but once she had it, there was no question that Toby was going to hold up her end of the game! I still miss her on the racing lanes, and now I miss her being here with us. She passed away suddenly on Aug 14, 2005 and went to join up with her Pawsitive Attitudes teammates that have gone on before her. Cindy Arnold
