OUR HISTORY

Kilbourne Park Baptist Church originated in a home Bible study by Mrs. Annie Greene in 1927. Our current fellowship hall, kitchen, and senior adult department are housed in the Annie Greene Building, so named to honor our founder.  Kilbourne Park is a cooperating Southern Baptist Church. Our roots are in cooperative missions.  We are active members of the South Carolina Baptist Convention and the Columbia Metro Association. 

The history of a church that points people to God is never truly completed, for the history of a church is not a story of buildings and brick.  The history of a church is the story of the members of the congregation written by their deeds of service, time, devotion, and talents as they point others to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
