Tess is Border Collie who started her flyball career as one of the original four dogs on the Leaps'n Hounds Flyball team back in 1997. She was never really fast, but she has always been very reliable and is willing to run in any position and pass any dog. Now that she is getting older, Ted and Sue have decided to semi-retire her from flyball and continue to compete in agility where she has excelled over the last few years. She will still come along to tournaments to help out teams with green dogs when needed, or as a spare dog. Her favorite toy is her Frisbee or her Holey Roller, and she loves nothing more than a good walk, preferably with a good game of fetch in the river.

Update: In April 2003, Tess retired from the sport of flyball. Tess will continue to compete in agility.
