Trina started participating in Flyball after moving to Edmonton from Vancouver Island. Eight months pregnant at the time, Trina slowly ran alongside Shan in training for the first few weeks, and is now a mom of three and still running strong.

Shan, which is a nickname for Tam-O-Shanter, is a classically marked black and white Border Collie. Born on December 20th, 1997, she was a holiday delight for Mom, who waited until February to bring her home. Starting off by charming the instructors in Puppy Kindergarten, she has quickly advanced through all sorts of classes and is now racing in Flyball. A complete couch potato at home, you wouldn’t know it when you see her bouncing on the sidelines preparing to race.
