The Vizsla was originally owned and bred by wealthy Hungarian landowners as both a sporting dog and a loyal family companion. Vizslas are striking in their appearance and their beautiful golden-rust color never fails to attract attention. They are highly intelligent, obedient and always strive to please their owners.

At home, Charlie loves to carry around his toys, his mom’s slippers and whatever else he can find to retrieve and show you. Although Charlie has taken his time discovering his abilities and the fun involved in dog sports, he is now starting to actively compete in flyball and agility.

Exuberance and enthusiasm are a big component of this connected dog and handler team. When Lauretta starts jumping up and down Charlie knows he has been successful and that he has done well.
