CONNOR

Connor is a Border/Border, born June, 2002.  He's actually 3/4 Border Collie, which I usually have to explain when people notice his height of 19.5 inches !  Even though he's an All-Canadian, I didn't want him to feel left out in our family of purebreds, so he's registered for flyball as "Canadian Content MOG". 

He's from the same parents as Rocket Relay's amazing height dog, Shayla, and I have to thank Aaron and Kelly Robbins for helping evaluate the litter, a bit of flyball training, and some much appreciated advice. 

I wanted a high drive, athletic dog, and boy did I get it.  Energy to burn.... he's most recently been timed at 4.2 in a flyball practice run. Not bad for 13 months old.  He has incredible flexibility, so getting a swimmers turn on the flyball box is no problem for this guy.  His worst trait is that he LOOOOVES people, he just can't concentrate on anything else when he sees a potential new friend ! 

Right now he's in training for agility, and I hope to start competing with him in the summer of 2004.
