New Years Eve: What a great New Years bash!!

Hope that everyone had fun. so glad that Rachet made his debut, not without a run around the building but it was great.

Breaking out 3 times was a bummer but hey what can we say about that. All the dogs ran exceptionally well over 11" jumps and we did a great job. Here are some pics to remember. Thanks to everyone - this tourny is on Kaotic too.

Note from the webmaster (who wasn't there)... were there any dogs at this New Years Eve Flyball bash?

A first Christmas for the next generation of Flyballers, LIttle Josh... but where's the dogs in this picture??

Congrats go to Denise and Josh Lortentzen - they have brought a healthy little girl into our flyball circle. Shandy Temple Lorentzen. After a long labor a very tired Denise is resting comfortable now. Born on December 13, 2005. 7.2lbs and 19.5 inches long.

BIG THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED MAKE THIS YEAR'S HOLIDAY WHIRLWIND TOURNAMENT SUCH A HUGE SUCCESS!!

A Note from the Mary, Teamcaptain:

Just want to send out a note about the weekend to say thank you to everyone.

It was a fantastic weekend, although not the same without the 'Oregon crew'. Without the support of our team members and extended flyball community, we would not be able to host such a great tournament every year.

New boxloader Marilyn did a great job and we look foward to you loading for us more in the future.

Good news for the weekend - Typhoons ran a respectable 19.68 (Break Out) but who cares with Cajun, Rio, Brandee & Flip way to go personal best for this group of dogs. Cajun's best time for the weekend 4.35 and Rio steady at 4.4-4.6, Brandee and Flip kept their steady times.

It was great to see Eddie & Reign out too- (February next tournament)

The two old men running well for the weekend sparing off Diesel and Bentley. Great Job and both stayed sound! Unfortunately Shelby was unable to run with us for this tournament but he will be all healed for February and we look foward to him joining us - maybe you have to lock him in a padded room? LOL - Thanks for coming out to work on Sat Wendy.

Sad news from Oregon with Jigsaw and her surgery and retirement from sports she is truly a great dog (princess) and she is truly a loss for our teams, we will always remember her beating those border collies though - everybody's thoughts are with Jen & Jigsaw. Good news though is Rachet will be ready for NEW YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (we hope). Thanks again everyone - see those on New Years Eve and everyone else in January.

Flip is only 182 points away from her FMX!!!! YEAH, FLIP! Note to Cathie: This webmaster still feels that Flip would be much happier living in KY! :)

CHIQUITA EARNS HER ATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT MORE CAN WE SAY ABOUT THE EXCITEMENT AND HOW EXTREMELY PROUD WE ARE OF DIANE AND CHIQUITA!!

This webmaster is so incredibly proud and just a touch jealous if this incredible feat!

On the agility front, Cathie Morrison, Glory & Flip competed in 37 degree Celsius temperatures in Kamloops May 28-29, 2005 at the AAC B.C./Yukon Regional Agility Championships and we have good news! Flip WON the 10" Specials class (she's officially the champion we always knew she was!) and Glory placed 3rd in the same class!

Now they're off to Nationals in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan August 20-21.

Good luck to you all!!!

What a great Weekend for Kaotic K9s!

And for those who missed it earlier (because I didn't remember to post it), we have a new Kaotic K9 handler in the making! Mary is due to give the team a new handler in the new year (although this handler may take a little time to get into the swing of things). Way to help the team grow, Mary!!

October 2004: MAD CHIQUITA!! Chiquita has attained her MADC (Masters Agility Dog of Canada).

Chiquita was once the poster child of the unruly, independent dog, so we are especially proud of Diane and Chiquita for all the hard work and PATIENCE that has gone into making this team the exceptional working team that they are.

CONGRATULATIONS, DIANE AND CHIQUITA!!

August 2004: Club members were saddened to learn this week that Sabrina, a Fox Terrier Team Member has been diagnosed with canine lymphoma. Sabrina is undergoing Chemotherapy in an attempt to rid her of the cancer and so far is doing well, without many side effects of the treatment. Our Prayers are with Sabrina, Harv and her human family.
