Synopsis: Hattie was born ready to play flyball.
She ran her first flyball in January 2000 only one month past her first birthday.
She was a challenge to catch once she returned with her ball as she enjoyed victory
laps in the run back area. Soon she became an excellent flyball dog and could run
any place you put her with any handler.
In 2004 she had a litter of puppies and
was fit to run only 6 weeks past the puppies' birth.
She ran flyball 6 year 9 months earning her Flyball Grand Champion.
She had eaten off more than 6 harnesses in her crate career.
Hattie completed her flyball career being the 7th GSP to hold the title Flyball
Grand Champion. Her career was cut short due to her love for treeing squirrels;
she had ACL surgery when she was 7 and it seems that the plate put in caused
her additional arthritis growth.
Flyball was not the only activity in Hattie's life;
she was a confirmation Champion, held the Obedience CD title, Junior Hunter title,
Agility Standard and Jumpers titles, Canine Good Citizen title. With all her
titles she was
awarded a highly honored GSP Versatility Title as being the true well rounded dog.
