“Look! There’s a fly on the cake!” HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Anne and Connie! Photo taken at HJJ, March 2008. |

Club members out enjoying the sunshine and lots of fast fun at a Lure Coursing practice. Yes, we know most these dogs don’t look like sight hounds, but who says we don’t get to have fun, too! Besides, it is great exercise for Flyball dogs! Anne with Kesh (the tan dog leaping like a lunatic) is pictured in the middle, wearing red. Beckett is pictured below, racing. Photos taken on November 1, 2008. |

The club members, friends, and spouses got together and spent the weekend camping in tents, cooking on a grill and over a fire, and swimming with the dogs in the lake at Goose Point Park. It was a wonderful time - 10 people and 16 dogs! We had so much fun just talking, laughing, and hanging out without having to worry about how the lineups were working, how fast our dogs were running, how close our passes were, how many points we needed to aim for, etc. that we plan on making this a regular thing. What a wonderful way to celebrate why we really play this game - the chance to hang out with our dogs and friends! |

Jason Everett and Bob Villamil asleep between races... Flyball was once described as “intermittent bouts of controlled chaos in between naps.” |

We don’t just sleep at tournaments either... we are always up for a cat-nap or two, anywhere! Eric and Karen catching some Z’s on the Philpott camping trip. June 2009. Photos by Carole Sease. |

Ever wondered what a tournament looks like most of the day... not counting those few minutes we spend racing in the lanes? Lots of crates, crate covers of one sort or another, camp chairs, bags upon bags of treats, toys, leashes, coolers of food, Vet wrap, etc. If we weren’t all racing dogs, we could probably pass as a tent-less city.
