Sunny is an 10 year old Labrador Retreiver owned by Karin Apfel.  She was adopted by Karin on her way to a shelter at 10 months of age.  She had already been through four other homes. With patience and training she started to channel her energy towards good instead of ‘evil’. 

Once she discovered flyball there was no turning back. Sunny is currently the #1 ranked lab in Canada, and #8 in North America.  Sunny earned the coveted FDGCH award May 4, 2003 in Belleville, ON earning over 30,000 points to date in her flyball career.  

This girl could be described as the happiest, friendliest dog known to man.  Sunny has a CGC (Canine Good Citizen),  and NAMBR CD obedience title .
