Shane was born in Eastern Canada in 1994 to a top flyball Mother and a top obedience Father.  He is the most handsome "red dog" in the world.  He has competed in Flyball since 1995 and has earned is ONYX title.  He has also competed and titled in herding, NADAC agility and USDAA agility.

His drive and consistency in Flyball earned him a solid "A" team position until an unrelated injury in 1997.  He has been an important asset to the "B" team since that time.  His desire and enthusiasm for the sport never waivers and the joy he has brought his mom, Cathy Rice, never waivers either.
