Norman is a Jack Russell Terrier and was born December 14, 2000.  Since the age of 8 weeks he has been responsible for training his owners, Judy and Summer about the realities of owning a JRT.  He walks Judy every morning and has involved her in a number of classes, including agility, flyball, and clicker training.  Norman is hopeful that Judy will successfully complete her training program so that he may begin competition in flyball soon.  She is showing promise, but is not nearly as agile as Norman.

Norman takes on additional family responsibilities which include a physical fitness program for Xena, his feline companion.  They participate in a Stairmaster program in the home while Judy and Summer are away.  Xena's physical fitness has increased dramatically since Norman began chasing her up and down the stairs.  Norman also has developed an extensive network communication system with the other dogs in the neighborhood, and takes responsibility for both household security and hospitality.

Norman has his own fan club, with Judy's mom Lorraine serving as President.
