Freckles is an Australian Shepherd / Retriever mix (we think!!) and is spoilt and cosseted by Rob Joubert.

She was born sometime in September 1998 and was adopted at the age of  8 weeks from Castaic Animal Shelter in November 1998.   In her puppy days, Freckles achieved her Canine Good Citizen award. Now she wouldn't be able to sit quietly that long!!
 
 

Freckles is a fairly active dog as she competes in:

1. Flyball where she has her FMCh (Flyball Masters Champion).
2. United States Dog Agility Association where she has achieved her Advanced Agility Dog title.
3. North American Dog Agility Council where she has her NADAC Agility Certificate
4. International Disc Dog Handlers Association where she has her BDD (Basic Disc Dog) title.

Freckles is also handled in USDAA Junior Handler agility by Tarryn, Rob & Gail's daughter.
