Weston
Whirlwinds, Amherst, NH- January 29 & 30, 2005:
The
Weston Whirlwinds team had a fabulous and fun tournament- we had a great
time. We brought Sally, Eartha, Haiku, Susie, Chance and Lark.
This was the tournament to get the new dogs in for races. Haiku
overcame her box and tournament issues and did awesome- she got enough
points for her FD and even got a 25 point run when she caught the ball
from the box. After we figured out what Lark needed (to run last and
to have me (Monica) boxload for her, she did awesome. She ran many
clean races and impressed people with her speed (and she hasn't even
turned it on yet, so watch out!). Lark also ended the day with her
FD. The other dogs did well, too. Chance, the new dog who no
longer acts like a new dog got his FDCH and was definitely picking up
speed as Lynda had to keep moving him back to get clean passes. This
is a fun group to work with!
