Story: Lisa first met Karmela when she was two weeks old.  She was picking up her first puppy, Haiku, who was 5 months old at the time.  She had told the breeder that she wanted a puppy from Karmela's mother because she had such a sweet disposition.  Karmela was in a five puppy litter of all girls.  She could not be shown because she has a pink nose and that does not meet breed standard.  Karmela was 3 months old when they brought her home.  She curled up in Lisa's lap for four hours on the ride home.  As soon as they turned into the driveway, she barked.  Haiku is still wondering when she'll be leaving.
