Story: She was born in Newton, MA
with two brothers (one died very young). Lisa had to woo her
breeder. Haiku was awarded to Lisa once it was determined she was
too small to safely breed*. Haiku came from an "H"
litter, so Lisa submitted a list of "H" names to the breeder
who chose "Haiku" from the list. At first Lisa felt it
was a tad pretentious but now realizes it fits her perfectly- she is a
real Haiku of a dog- a big dog condensed into a small, yet powerful poem
of a dog.
* Coincidently, it had also been
determined that Lisa was too old to safely breed
