No matter what we throw at Portia, she excels in it. Jump 6 feet to catch a Frisbee? No problem. Clear a 48” bar on a high jump? No problem. Break the 4 second mark in flyball? Yup…done that too.

Bernie runs Portia and gets a thrill running her in every single heat. She never gives less than 110% and really wants to make her dad proud. It’s her drive, energy, and power in flyball that earned her the nickname - White Lightning. I guess being named after a fast car (different spelling) just wasn’t fast enough for Portia - we had to look to Mother Nature!

Portia is a real crowd pleaser, whether at a parade or at a demo. The kids love to make Portia jump for a Frisbee and Portia loves the kids because they are always ready to play. Portia can truly make a game out of just about anything.

Besides being a wonderful athlete, Portia is a loving dog who always wants to be in the same room with us. She even sleeps at the end of our bed. She is her house-mate, Indiana’s, favourite chew toy and Portia doesn’t mind a bit.
