Good time at Old Home Week!
The second F'n'F Old Home Week show fun for all!
We were a bit rushed due to a sudden time change,
but the Fast'n'FURious club's second Old Home Week dog show turned
out to be another hit. Our MC, Karen, once again did a superb
job on the mike, the kids tried their "paws" at agility, and were
even able to pull off an upset victory over the dogs in head to head
flyball racing!
Portia's gravity-defying jumps are always crowd
pleasers...and Bernie is at all times the ultimate showman!
Of course, Twister and Indy know how to show off
with a frisbee themselves!
Bishop the Batdog had an excellent run on the
agility course.
And what would the show be without our audience
volunteers? The kids had a great time competing with the
dogs...even with the August heat to contend with!
The weave poles presented a bit of a
challenge...but the kids attacked the tire jump with enthusiasm!
There was no stopping the kids in
flyball! They took advantage of a couple of errors on the
dog team, and emerged with a huge upset over the Atlantic
Canadian Champions!
A big thanks to all of our participating club
members for making the show come together, and to all of our
competitors...both kid and canine! We hope to be back again
next year with an even bigger and better performance!
