| Emma was adopted, along
with her littermate Chloe, from a breeder in the Western part of Prince
Edward Island. Emma has always been the "attention seeker" of our two
schnauzers. Our friends call her the Velveteen Rabbit, as she is so
soft and always flops on your lap looking for a rub. When we enrolled Emma’s
sister in flyball, we thought why not give Emma a try. Well, it was the 5th
of 8 classes before Emma would even touch the ball in class – we were so
close to quitting!! On the last night of level 1 classes, Emma passed (phewwww...).
We thought we would then give her a try at level 2 and she actually did
quite well.
Today, Emma is racing with the rest
of the F’n’F gang and loving every minute of it. If you are wondering which
schnauzer is Emma, she is the dog barking NON-STOP on and off the
flyball matt. She is actually much quieter at home (unless she sees a bird,
or person, or car, or leaf ......), with her other favourite pastime
being napping. She is quite the little lady and we love her very much! |
