Written by Timmie:

Koty is my very best buddy and constant companion. He never ceases to amaze me with his athletic prowess and limitless intelligence. If Koty were human he would be captain of the football team and president of the chess club.

I got Koty from a farm when he was 3-months-old; a slobbery, lanky puppy acquired for $50. I was 14-years-old and immediately stricken by his intelligence. And the rest is history. A champion in agility and a master champion in disc, Koty taught me that we could indeed have it all. Koty holds numerous records in disc dog and especially in Freestyle. In fact, he was the first dog in history to earn all 9 CDDA disc titles. Peter Bloeme, founder of Skyhoundz, said I could probably redo my bathroom with the amount of plaques won between Koty and Shenzi at the Skyhoundz national championships. A well-rounded athlete, Koty WON the Skyhoundz Canadian National Disc Dog Championships and the AAC Regional Agility Championships in 2006. In 2004, he placed 3rd in AAC Regionals and 8th at the AAC Nationals held in Montreal. And in 2006 he was named the Can-Am disc dog Distance/Accuracy Champion in New York. And those are just a few brags ;)

When not on the road competing, Koty does a little sheep-herding, scootering, dog-sledding, swimming, hiking, sleeping until noon and playing fetch.”
