Joseph Buckwheat
I never thought I would have the energy or patience for a Labrador. But this big guy is a gentle, easy going giant. Every morning precisely at 6AM he lays his head on my shoulder and wiggles it until I get out of bed. Then, he promptly takes my place for his morning nap. I haven't used an alarm clock in 3 years. Of course, we are still trying to teach Joey what day light savings time is. After a long, hard day of napping, Joey will sit in front of me and stare at me until I take him for his 3 mile walk.
Joey is fiercely loyal and can always be found within 10 feet of his humans. He loves to swim, play tug with his Schnauzer brother, and sleep with his dachshund.
