Piper
Piper was adopted from Bastrop Animal Shelter and was from a littler of 14 wiggly lab puppies. Who could resist the little ball of black fur with the blue eyes? They say both parents were pure labs (aren’t they always pure?!), but our girl is full grown and a petite lovely thing at 45 pounds. She is the most loving dog in the world and has never met a person she didn’t love and feel compelled to lick/bathe. Piper is a super high energy girl which has made some wonder if perhaps she doesn’t have a little Border Collie in her. It would explain the mohawk tail! She loves balls, frisbees, running around like a goofball, wrestling with her doggie and kitty brothers, and of course, flyball! She always is willing to please even if she still has her puppy moments that drive her parents crazy. Piper is the apple of her daddy’s eye and can get away with anything when she smiles and turns those big brown eyes on you. She is sweet, fast, goofy, and the word “flyball” makes her eyes get that special glow that says she is ready to go.
