Hathy was Lisa's first flyball dog. When Hathy was 2 (and in sore need of a job), they went to an agility try-out and happened to see a flyball practice on the other side of the field...Hathy ran right over to the flyball course, took all 4 jumps and got the ball out of the box, and their fate was sealed. Luckily (for both of them) he was a natural, and started competing a few months after his first practice. Granted, he had issues (like only wanting to run down to ONE ball – the "magic ball" – which had to be run back to the boxloader after every heat), but thanks to him, Lisa got addicted to flyball really quickly.

Hathy gets away with pretty much anything. He was born into Lisa's hands 9 years ago, and has had her completely under his spell ever since. Like most JRTs he is extremely confident and funny, always ready to play flyball, chuck-it or frisbee, or go to terrier trials and do some racing, lure coursing, or go-to-ground. In flyball he has never been one to cross over or bother with other dogs, all he cares about is his pink and green floppy frisbee, which makes him excellent bait when we're training green dogs.
