Curry was such a handful as a youngster in agility, that Pam decided to try another sport until he got older – that's how she got involved in the world of Flyball. Curry learned the sport very quickly and competed in his first tourney (January 1997), without making ANY mistakes, and after only six weeks of practice! Since then, he has been an incredible flyball dog – he has run in every position and can pass any dog – he is solid as a rock and isn't phased by anything – though other dogs are phased by him! He has a presence and has no problem throwing that presence around – he's definitely a force to be reckoned with!

There were several people on the First In Flight flyball team who were considering getting Border Collies. But they fell so completely in love with Curry, that they ended up getting aussies instead! He has such an amazing temperament and drive – he's a super sweet dog that gives 110% to everything he does!

Curry was permanently retired in September 2004 due to arthritis developing in his toes and hips. However, he's still used as a passing coach for green dogs (any dog that thinks they can take up the entire racing lane learns pretty quickly they can't when they pass with him – he just runs straight through them!) and will be as long as he continues to enjoy the sport. He still runs Flyball with the reckless abandon as a youngster, too bad his hips can't take the tight turning off the box anymore.

Curry will always be Pam's "most perfect dog" – even if he drives her crazy!
