Welcome to the DogGoneFast FangFest!
Thank you for your entries. Please check the other links on our web site for seed chart, racing schedule, detailed directions/maps and a complete list of food sales.
We have managed to provide each team with 23+ heats each
day. We believe that we will be able to
have a lunch break each day and plan to shut the building up so that the air
conditioning can do its job and cool the building off for the afternoon
racing. We have awards for 1st
through 3rd placements and prizes for all teams.
We are also planning on holding single dog racing on Friday
night at
There is a combination of Round Robin and Single Elimination
racing depending on the size of the division.
4 team divisions: 1
RR 5/5 and 1 RR 3/3
5 team divisions: 1
RR 5/5 and 1 SE 3/3 (round robin is used to seed the Single Elimination racing,
SE determines tournament placement)
6 team divisions: 1
RR 5/5
Teams are awarded 1 tournament point for each heat won, and
an additional point for winning the race.
Ties will be broken by the best time posted in the division. Warm-ups will be 2 minutes on both days. Warm-up time may be reduced to 90 seconds if
necessary. Please notify the judge if you do not need the entire warm-up
period.
