Lugnut is the 1st dog in Saskatoon to earn an ONYX title (20,000 points!)

When Lug was 4-5 weeks old he decided to crawl away from his littermates and explore. Well, he came across a tire rim and pushed his head through the opening. It was extremely hot that day, and his head swelled and became stuck in the tire rim. He was subsequently taken to the vet, anesthetized, his head lubed up and pulled back out of the tire rim (check out the photo). We fostered Lug for the SPCA and adopted him the day that he was available for adoption. We know that his mother is a purebred Chesapeake Bay Retriever (hard to imagine by looking at him) and the make of his father is unknown, but we speculate he is a black Great Dane cross.

Lug is a fanatic for flyball and ball obsessed!! He is not the fastest dog but he has LOTS of heart!

Lug lives with Dash, Rage, Thomas, Sable, Turbo and their humans

At the age of 10 Lug still competes in flyball on a limited basis. He still loves the game!!
