I
have had the pleasure of instructing the Monday night Puppy Class since the early 90's. I received my first dog in 1983 as a gift from my husband. A nighttime runner, she was starting to have problems with passersby.  Her gift was a Doberman, Trooper.  He was a good protector but needed obedience training.  It was that need that ultimately go me involved in what has become numerous canine activities. My Dobes have achieved titles in Obedience, Agility and Flyball. They have also been successful in the conformation ring and met the requirements of a variety of temperament testing organizations. Information

Keegan, who is a miniature Schnauzer,  became my puppy the Christmas of 2000, Thanks to the encouragement of my three adult children, who felt I needed a companion and protector. After being truly spoiled by my children for the week and a half of vacation, reality hit hard with their departure. Keegan was convinced that he was the alpha dog and after six tough months, doggie daycare and flyball helped to change his attitude. When Keegan was a year old (Oct. 2001), he ran in his first flyball tournament. He loved it! Two years later we joined Canine Express to newer flyball techniques. Keegan now has a swimmers's turn and a faster return from the box and I'm still working on better passes.
