Text Box: In memory of our teammate Brenda Bailey, Canine Express is asking each team to nominate a rescue dog running flyball this weekend.
Brenda lost her year long battle with ovarian cancer on September 16, 2006 and will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched. She ran in flyball, agility, and performed in Rock n` Roll  K-9’s with her two
rescue border collies: Nike and Miranda. Brenda started flyball with Wooferines then joined Junkyard dogs and last was a valued member of our Canine Express team until her death.
Her border collie, Nike, will continue to run with our team.   This dog’s playful nature and enthusiasm is a reminder of Brenda and her always positive attitude.
Brenda decided to run her dog in flyball because Nike had endless energy and needed a job to do.  We are asking team members to nominate either a new  rescue dog & handler running with the team or a veteran handler working with a new  dog.  Just tell us how this dog had made a difference for the team and any experiences you want to share.
As a team, we will select one dog each year for the Brenda Bailey
Inspiration Award in her honor. Thank you for your participation.
