Hobbies & Interests: A very valuable member of his canine and human pack...he assists in raising ALL puppies whether they like it or not, and our Siamese kitten. He is especialy good with human babies - good thing as he has two! A very sweet boy with a fetish for young things to be clean - tried to bury our infant daughter who apparently had a dirty diaper on our bed with blankets! Rowdy has another life besides flyball - lure coursing; has an advanced title - a LCM (Lure Courser of Merit), several Best in Field Titles and top placements at National Lure trials.
Flyball History: Started as a 10 week old pup with the now extinct "Wiz Kids" and has evolved with the teams that have spun off of that original team.
Strengths: "Mr. Calm, Cool, & Collected" at home, at flyball, and at lure coursing. He can be put anywhere in a line-up and run by anybody - he has no issues with other dogs or any people - very stable. Although he is not the fastest whippet (4.4's 4.5's), his stability and reliability are valuable. On the coursing field, he runs reliably even as a veteran - many dogs "cheat" by the time they are his age.
Nicknames:: "Rowdy-Roo, Buckaroo, Little Pilgram" (bought in Massachusetts)
