Flyball History: Rescued in September of 2003 from the Humane Society. Butter was going to be euthanized because she had multiple seizures at the shelter but she just had too cute a face to be put down. She was brought to our house because things did not work at another home. After some bloodwork, it was found that she has a liver shunt that was contributing to her seizures as well as her weight. She was placed on a liver diet and the Emo family dog exercise program. She could barely waddle up the paths at our house behind the other dogs. After a year and a half she lost 33 pounds and can now run. She is no where ready to play flyball but she does like running over the jumps and will pick up a ball loaded with treats but hasn't figured out how to bring it all the way back to dad yet. Despite dad not wanting her in the beginning, she is definitely dad's dog.
