Tucker seemed like an original name to us first-time dog
owners. Now we know better, we have met a lot of Tucker dogs. Actually we
named him after a traditional Aussie poem about a Dog on a Tucker Box. Tucker
in Aussie means food - so our pooch is aptly named. This poem is about
drovers and bullock team drivers who passed the time telling stories around
the campfire while their dogs kept guard by the tucker (food) box.
