| Now that Sammy has been to a couple of tournaments, she has figured out what this racing thing is about. Before the race starts, Sammy looks over to the other lane to size up the competition, then runs as fast as the dog in the other lane. She loves practice racing against her friend Emily the Malinois from Burnin Rubber, because Emily provides some real competition (Emily runs 3.7's). Sammy is determined that she will beat Emily one of these days if only she could figure out how to complete her turn with the ball and all that speed!
Despite a rough start to life, Sammy has evolved into a wonderful dog sports partner and distinguished friend. She is game for anything and everything is a game. We've taken classes in obedience, rally-o, agility, search and rescue, flyball and disk. She enjoyed and excelled at all the classes, except for search and rescue because Sammy is a very shy girl who would prefer to search and rescue tennis balls than lost humans, and if you want to find dead things Sammy's your dog.
Our other doggie activities include agility, Rally-Obedience, skijoring and tracking dead groundhogs.
