Lucy was adopted from the Ottawa Humane Society in May 2004, approximately one year old. Her "first life" is a mystery, but children were probably a part of her first family as she adores kids. It's not clear why she ended up at the pound since she's a delightful dog to live with, but it's likely that her wandering hound nose had something to do with it. Being highly treat motivated (when she's not in her hound follow-the-scent mode) and a willing learner, Lucy is a very good student. She and her human companion are enjoying learning the sport of flyball together.
