Mother's Day Mayhem Tournament |

Our Hurry Canines team went over to Langley for the weekend to support Run Free Flyball Club in hosting their first ever NAFA tournament. On Saturday our line-up of Sophie, Sushi, Ruffy, Dancer, Cindy & Jim raced in to 2nd place in Div 2 with a best time of 19.33 seconds. On Sunday we had some inter-team fun when Sophie, Ruffy and Dancer joined forces with Tbo from Run Free to compete in the Open Class. We named our joint team Free Canines and had a very successful day earning over 650 NAFA points for each dog while racing in to 2nd place in Open Class Div 1 with a best time of 19.11 seconds! Congratulations went to Dancer in the 3rd race of the day for reaching the 5000 point level and earning his Flyball Master title! A big thank you to Karl Braun for running Tbo with us and making this such an enjoyable Mother's Day! |

Much needed practice! |

| Hurry Canines team members gathered at Ash Farm in the Cowichan Valley for some much needed practice to prepare for our next tournament. With our team members being scattered around the Island we haven't had much opportunity to get together with all the bad weather of late. Fortunately the sun cooperated and we had a good afternoon. Kings Spring Fling Tournament |
| Hurry Canines were once again
in Cloverdale for a weekend of racing with Sophie,
Ruff, Dancer, Cindy and Jim
in our line-up. We all had to squish our campers in to the
tiny parking lot but had a cozy weekend and some fun with the party
antics of fellow flyballers from Pawcific Storm and Dogwood
Pacesetters! Thanks to Judge Randy for diagnosing a dead
battery, fixing a plugged thermocouple and saving Captain Linda from
freezing to death in her trailer!
Our teamsters raced in to 3rd place in Div 2 on Saturday with a best time of 18.99 secs, and took 4th place on Sunday with a best time of 19.11 secs. |

Toonies "Rescued Racers" Tournament |

| Hurry Canines
traveled to Cloverdale for a weekend of racing in support of SPCA
Rescue Dogs. Our line-up of Sophie,
Ruff, Dancer, Cindy and Jim
raced in to 3rd place in Div 2 on Saturday with a best time
of 18.79 secs, and 2nd place (by a head to head tie for 1st place) on
Sunday with a best time of 19.01 secs. We were proud to display posters of our two Rescued Racers on the wall of fame. |
