Sadie

We adopted Sadie from Alaska Dog & Puppy Rescue in late June 2006 when she was about 8 weeks old.  She's a mutt, but mostly labrador retreiver. Her favorite activities include tugging on ropes and toys, chasing a red laser light in the winter, playing keep-away with other dogs, a new-found love of catching a frisbee, and sleeping. She's definitely high energy, but also very much a snuggler. We discovered Alaska Dogs Gone Wild through an advertisement for a demo, and started Sadie in the beginner group in August 2007. She has picked up many of the pieces of flyball training. We have hopes that someday she'll put it all together and run in a tournament, but for now we're enjoying learning all we can about the sport. She has definitely learned what we mean when we ask if she wants to go to flyball practice!
